Quick Cabled Crochet Basket

A blog post came up in my blog feed yesterday with a cute little pattern I wanted to try IMMEDIATELY. So I did!

Pattern: Cable Stitch Basket (Ravelry mine)

Yarn: Wool of the Andes Superwash in Semolina and Grass

Hook: USG/4.0mm

Timeframe: May 27, 2015

Mods: I used a smaller hook due to my thinner yarn, added three rows to use up the yarn, and added the bow for the final scraps of yarn.

Problems: None!

 

 

While not the original intent, as you can see, it fits perfectly on a wine bottle! Wine bottle cozy!
