Every time I open the cross stitch/finished gifts/roving box, there is an old, creepy needlepoint that catches my eye:
Every time, I think, "I should just pull it out and work on it, it will be such a quick project, and then it will be finished!" and every time I respond, "I have too many other projects going on, they always take longer than you think, and what the heck am I going to do with it when it's done?!" This time, since I have officially given myself no goals for 2014, I decided, "Screw it," and dove right in.
It's been a very quick piece so far, sitting on my bedside table and getting a strand or two before I go to bed and another when I wake up. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep it or gift it. I don't do much decorating, but this thing may be too creepy/cheesy to give away. The real question is, if I keep it, do I go with the original "Merry Christmas" or do I change the text to read "Santa's Acid Trip"?
Santa's Acid Trip, obviously. The sparkle eyes are so crazy.
