On the subject of a lovely green cabled sock
The yarn apparently did not agree that it would like to become a lovely cabled sock.
The cables are in fact lovely, but the gauge is far too tight. The yarn is really on the lighter side of light fingering, far too thin for this pattern to fit.
Maybe it just wants to be a ball of yarn.
